What better than meeting as dusk falls, behind the village church, opposite the pub, with friends old and new. With torches flashing we seek out moths, sonic detectors find bats whizzing past and amid the deepening darkness we bump into each other as we follow our host and guide through hedges and redundant buildings.

Speed Dating with Neblina on the Nottingham to Skegness Train was featured on a documentary about rural life. Due to be shown around the world as more translations are made. Monthly every winter.

50th Birthday Party

Many of us celebrate our birthdays with family, friends and single friends. Although a bad night for weather, icy and a touch of snow on high ground we had a good turn out with party games being very popular.

Cocktail Cruise - Boston
Friday 19 October
The cruise was fantastic value, 3 hours at £10 with a glass of sparkling wine and canapes. Couples were formed almost immediately and at least two subsequent dates made so far. The mist rising off the river on the way back was most impressive and a real treat for the romantics on board.
More cruises in the spring.


Love Train - shown on Southern ITV and Central ITV a few weeks later
Thursday 27 September saw our first monthly departure of the Love Train from Nottingham (5.50pm) and Sleaford (7.00pm). Music from Sleaford and "Speed Date Style" moves ensure you meet lots of new friends. Regular monthly event.

We went to the Dolphin Disco last night and B-NG31 had a very successful night with T-NR.  Come and join us next time and ask about setting up a car share where you live.
